We have featured many raisings and projects in progress on the blog, but not many pictures of finished homes. Part of that is a function of our role in the construction process. We raise the timbers, install the tongue and groove ceilings, arrange for the Enercept panels to be installed, and then don’t get to stick around for the finishing work. Because of this, we always enjoy coming back to see the finished home.

This home was raised earlier this year and was recently finished. The homeowners kindly allowed us to come back and take photos. Enjoy!

When we raised this Eastern White Pine (EWP) frame, it looked like this.

It looks much different with cedar siding, a deck, and a screened-in porch.

More EWP timbers in the entry and around the garage doors.

The tapered king post, the arched braces, the double posts and stone columns all create a memorable entry.

The interior timbers, floor, tongue and groove ceiling, railing, and stairs are all pine.
